I’m responding to a couple of questions about what I mean by being fully fulfilled in union with God. There are a couple of misunderstandings about what I’ve told you so far about the connection between the earthly and the Trinitarian circle of love.

Before the creation of space, time, and matter intimacy already existed. This was the very being of God. He is not just a person, but a fellowship of persons. The trinity exists in the endless circle of other-centered self-giving love. Humanity is made to participate in this love circle.

To realize what kind of relationship God longs to have with us we need to look into the relationships within Their being. This is the starting point of intimacy, so we need to see how it worked “before” us, to discover what it is we are part of, and what is possible for us in all relationships. Only by understanding their community can we see what kind of fellowship God desires to have with humanity and with you individually.
