I would like to uncover a lie that has stolen a lot from me. And this the idea that you have to suppress everything in you to avoid falling into sin. This is why you try to reduce all the emotions, and desires so that the need wouldn’t be that harsh. The trick is that that’s how we put ourselves up to temptation. But it is way easier to get a quick cheap answer to a smaller desire. The safest thing you can do is allowing your desire to be extended so that Jesus can fulfill them.
